KTM or Husqvarna EXC 250 and 300 two-strokes for enduro, or CF Moto 450MT Adventure for the bigger routes. Fuel, full mechanical support, a backup vehicle and two Ride With Locals South Africa guides throughout.

- Minimum of 3 riders for a tour to run Intermediate off-road skills and experience on the bike type you choose Valid driver's licence for a heavy motorcycle Passport with at least six months' validity — Lesotho routes cross a border Medical We always recommend travel insurance, with documents shown before the tour starts Riders bring their own full gear: helmet, chest and back protection, riding shirt and pants, goggles, gloves, off-road boots and a hydration pack
Not every rider wants a fixed departure. A custom tour is built around your dates, your riding level and your group — enduro single-track, big adventure routes, or a mix of both.
We ride the same ground as our scheduled tours: the KwaZulu-Natal coast and midlands, the Drakensberg passes, and over the border into Lesotho. Tell us how much riding and how much recovery you want, and we’ll shape the days around it.
